Biography
Cynthia Jean, LMSW, LSW is a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist and the Founder and Executive Director of Spring Forward Hope for Pink, a nonprofit organization. She has established herself as a leader in providing advocacy, education, and support services for individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Her journey in social work began with her academic pursuits at Hofstra University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She continued her education at Adelphi University, obtaining her master’s degree in social work in 2011. She embarked on a career path dedicated to helping others navigate the complexities of life's challenges. With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in both New York and New Jersey, She has honed her skills as a psychotherapist specializing in supporting individuals facing breast cancer, chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as those grappling with anxiety and depression. Her contributions extend far beyond her practice. In 2024, she was honored with the Leadership Award of Distinction from Germain Consulting Services, RN, PLLC, recognizing her exceptional advocacy and leadership in wellness, health, and community empowerment. She also served as a panelist at NYBLACKMBA's The Power of YOU Women's Conference, themed "Igniting Your Inner Fire," at Morgan Stanley Financial District Headquarters in New York City, and Victoria Secret Headquarters, where she spoke on "The Journey of YOU," inspiring women to embrace personal transformation. Through initiatives like her "Tears, Treatment, & Triumph" workshop series, Cynthia educates and empowers women on mental health, resilience, breast health, fitness, and wellness.
